The decision comes round again.
A check answers the question once. But adoption is not something you settle — the evidence keeps arriving, and every few months somebody has to look at it and say plainly whether to keep going or change course.
That decision is easy to postpone. There is always a release, a reorganisation, a quarter where it can wait. Postponing it is how an organisation drifts back to exactly where it started, with better vocabulary.
So this is not a block of hours you draw down when something goes wrong. It is a standing rhythm: a working session each quarter where we go through what the evidence is actually saying and make the pivot-or-persevere call properly — with availability in between, for the things that will not keep.
It is also where the learning journey lands. The last thing your team practises is the pivot-or-persevere call; this is that same call, continuing, with us in the room until it is yours.
One condition: a rhythm needs something to be rhythmic about. We take this on with organisations that have run at least one check — before that there is no evidence to meet around, and we would only be trading opinions. Getting started is a different conversation, and it costs nothing.
